एक ट्विटर पोस्ट में, उन्होंने कहा कि उनके परिवार और कर्मचारियों का परीक्षण किया गया है और परिणाम की प्रतीक्षा है। उन्होंने उन सभी से भी पूछा, जो पिछले 10 दिनों में उनके संपर्क में आए थे और साथ ही परीक्षण भी कराया था।

समाचार एजेंसी पीटीआई ने बताया कि 77 वर्षीय अभिनेता को मुंबई के नानावती अस्पताल के आइसोलेशन वार्ड में भर्ती कराया गया है।

देश भर के लोगों ने ट्वीट कर उनके शीघ्र स्वस्थ होने की कामना की है।

In a Twitter post, he said that his family and staff have been tested and are awaiting results. He also asked all those who had come in contact with him in the last 10 days and also got the test done.

The 77-year-old actor has been admitted to the isolation ward of Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai, news agency PTI reported.

People across the country tweeted and wished him a speedy recovery.

Bachchan was recently seen in Shoojit Sarkar's film Gulbo Sitabo, co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana, which was released digitally on Amazon Prime Video. He is going to host season 12 of the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati.
